Wireless speakers use electronic signals to transmit audio sound information. These signals are transmitted by radio frequency (RF) waves. The wireless speaker transmitter is connected to the audio out source of the component producing the music or audio, and the speakers can now receive the signal, and be placed where you desire (normally each speaker can be usually be placed around 150 ft. from the transmitter (unless otherwise specified). One end of the transmitter plugs into the audio source or your TV, Cable/Satellite Box, Desktop Computer, Laptop, Notebook, Stereo/Surround Sound Receiver, iPod, CD/DVD/MP3 Player) and the other end plugs into a standard household AC Outlet. You can also plug the transmitter into a headphone jack of the aforementioned Audio/Video Components. The speakers can be plugged in to standard AC outlet or run on batteries (as specified). How to Set Up Wireless Speakers

If your TV is connected to a cable or satellite box:

1. Turn on the TV and cable/satellite box
2. Turn the volume all the way down on your TV
3. Turn the volume all the way up on your cable/satellite box. Regulate the TV Volume from your TV remote and your speaker volume from your speaker volume control (or remote if included with system).
4. Connect the RCA Adapter (two wire red & white) to your Transmitter.
5. Connect the RCA Adapter to your RCA Jack (two opening " Audio Out") in the back, side or front of your cable/satellite box. Then plug the transmitter power cord into a wall outlet or surge protector.
6. Plug in each speaker into any 110V AC (Standard wall outlet) or surge protector and follow the owners maunal instructions for tuning and volume control
7. Most speakers can run on batteries as well as AC power, but they typically will drain the batteries in 5-10 hours.
8. Some speakers will recharge NiMH or NiCD recharable batteries while they are plugged into AC.
9. DO NOT USE Regular Alkaline or similar batteries while the speakers are plugged in. This will the batteries to leak and and damage the speakers.
10. DO NOT leave batteries in AC/DC powered speakers for extended periods of time
11. Some spekaers have a left, right and mono channel. Use the left and right for two speaker stereo set up. Use the mono setting if you are using 1 speaker in a room, or 1 speaker in several rooms.

Stereo Receiver, CD / DVD Player

If you have an RCA jack available, use the same instructions as for TV without regard to the cable/satellite box. If you do not have an RCA Jack, then use the headphone jack. Your wired speakers will not work once you plug the headphone adapter into the headphone jack.

Turn the volume all the way up. The signal of your transmitter will work off volume when using the headphone jack. Now you can regulate the volume from high to low. Higher volume will keep the signal strong.. Now regulate the volume directly from your speaker volume control.

Desktop Computer, Laptop, Notebook, iPod, MP3 Player

Follow the same instructions as using a headphone Jack.
If your speakers are 100% battery operated, please follow the instruction manual that comes with your speakers.

Outdoor wireless speakers are weather-resistant but not waterproof unless specifically specified as such (we have water-proof speakers!) Outdoor speakers should be unplugged in wet conditions and run only on batteries if waterproof. They should be placed indoors during extreme heat or cold, rain and snow, unless specified as waterproof or extreme temperature resistant.

Wireless speakers are so easy to set up, that for many people, it takes longer to unpack them from the box then it does to set them up and enjoy the sound.
